Wendy @ Life with Buck

Today's featured Wendy writes over at Life with Buck.

Wendy is a copy editor of a magazine and writes about living with a fella named Buck. Today when I wandered over there she was setting a tree on fire. She also talks about bad rats and is about to hook a video camera up to the family dog for some rip-roaring petcam fun.

How can you NOT go over there and take a look?

Wendy Allen

Today's featured Wendy is Wendy Allen, the artist.

Her primary subject matter is Abraham Lincoln who inspires her. But these are not ordinary pictures of Lincoln. Even if you're not a big fan of Lincoln or history you should go look, because, after all she's a Wendy!

First go look at the GALLERY, then definitely look at the little MOVIE explaining the work.

Wendy Piersall, Head Sparkplug

Today's Featured Wendy is: Wendy Piersall, CEO of Sparkplugging.com

Wendy's story is one of those "dreamblog" scenarios... woman starts hobby blogging and turns it into a mega-company that ends up featured in notable newspapers and magazine. Now she gets gigs as speakers at conferences and also writes for Entrepreneur.com.

If you love start-up company success stories, hers is a great one to check out. Go read her bio and give Wendy Piersall some kudos for not only being a go-get-em human being but also for being a rockin' Wendy to be proud of!

Team Wendy

The company Team Wendy makes helmets.

Here is a blurb about the company:

Wendy Moore loved action sports. She loved life. Wendy died on March 15, 1997 at age 29, as the result of a traumatic head injury sustained while skiing without a helmet. In her honor, her family founded a company with the vision and mission to raise helmet awareness for those who have a passion for action sports like Wendy did, and to engineer improved helmet designs that raise the bar for helmet safety standards.

Need a helmet? Why not get a helmet from Team Wendy!

Walking Wendy from Minnesota

Today's Wendy loves writing and lives in Minnesota. She loves conservative talk radio, politics, movies, music and books. She's SINGLE, so if anyone has a nice brother with a job and who is nice, fix her up. I love matchmaking. (Man is she every gonna kill me. She doesn't know I'm doing this.)

Okay, back to Wendy... She goes camping and does charity walks.

Head over to her blog and give her some love!

Mesa Wendy

Today's featured Wendy is nicknamed "Mesa Wendy". She has been a member of the official Wendy group since 1996!! That's so amazing to me. I'm thrilled she's still hanging around. (Putting that into mind-boggling perspective, she's been around since well before my kids were born! Wow.)

Mesa Wendy is a rockin' talented lady. She's a patriotic military mom, artist, and has some amazing skills with power tools and technology.

Start with this blog and work your way around: http://mesawendy.blogspot.com/

If you look over to the side you'll see a link where you can go to her full profile. That will show you a whole list of her other blogs.

Go give some love to this amazingly diverse Wendy!

There's a really funny blog I read. The writing is good and it's always hilarious.

I ran across a recent post in which she makes a sidenote mention that all Wendys are crazy. Do you think it's true? Are YOU crazy? (I know I am but I don't want to be judgmental about the rest of you.) :D

So, I thought it would be funny if everyone went over there and commented on her blog. The things I do to amuse myself. (See? Crazy!)

Follow the link to the blog post that mentions Wendys. (And I hope none of you are the Wendy she was actually talking about!)

Wendy Card

I don't know what it is with me and scary movies lately...

Here's a bold and beautiful design with a really scary, creepy quote from The Shining. But no matter what, you just can't beat a card with Wendy's name on it.

Go check it out in detail!

Now I have to go look for something NICE with our name on it. Maybe something pink and with butterflies!

Wendi Aarons

Today's Featured Blogger is: Wendi Aarons
I used to work in advertising and in the movie business and also at a sandwich place for three days in the 80's. But then I had kids & stopped contributing to society. In the past couple years, I've written stuff for mcweeneys.net, freshyarn.com, parentwise:austin, KUT, some sketch comedy and an unproduced screenplay. Now I'm writing a book of humorous essays. If it doesn't get published,at least I have that sandwich experience to fall back on. And I know it goes without saying, but please keep in mind that this is simply a humor blog. My tongue is firmly in my cheek. At least until someone opens up the wine, anyway.

She's darn funny. Go check her out!
