Wendy Hanenburg

Today's featured Wendy is an avid photographer. A quick browse of her site will show you that she loves what she does... pictures of children running through blue bonnets, kitties posing for photos, lots and lots of cherubic children.

If you don't like happy, sunny things stay away, but if you enjoy seeing another talented Wendy, check out: I See, I Snap

Wendy Ladner-Beaudry

I spent part of my morning reading about a woman in Vancouver who has inspired so many people. She was recently killed during a run in a park. Her memorial was Saturday and I've been reading the outpouring of memories and thoughts of grief from friends, family and admirers.

Someone has set up a place for memories about Wendy at www.wendymemories.com. Let's all try to live our life so that when we are gone we will continue to influence others through the memories we leave behind.

What a great person she must have been. I'm sorry for the loss of her family and friends.

Wendy Johnson

Wendy Johnson knits. A lot. And she writes about knitting. A lot. And probably when she's not knitting or writing about knitting I bet she is thinking about knitting.

Wendy is today's featured blogger. We're celebrating her soon to be released book called Socks from the Toe Up which is being released on April 14, 2009.

I was recently at her blog and so impressed by her work. Beautiful stuff. I frequently have knit envy because I'm abysmal at it. And hopeless.

For the rest of you who are not abysmal and hopeless, please wander over to Wendy Knits and show Wendy some love.

(And if you're a knitting Wendy, you should also check out the list of other Wendys Who Knit.)
